Welcome to Our World

This is the blog of the AP English class at the Chinquapin School. We like to think of ourselves as "modern masters" of writing, and we welcome your ideas and comments as we "dig even deeper" into our reading of true modern masters of world literature. Our first book up for discussion is Palace Walk, the inaugural novel in the The Cairo Trilogy by Nobel Prize winning novelist Naguib Mahfouz, translated by William Maynard Hutchins and Olive E. Kenny, published by Anchor/Random House (New York) in 1990, originally published in 1956.
